Mayara or just May is a Brazilian graphic designer who lives and works in Toronto. With a background in Language and Literature (Portuguese) and passionate about storytelling which blends culture, typography, and design. With five years of experience in graphic design, social media, UX/UI, and marketing, she’s drawn to projects that explore how design can build connections and make a positive impact.

Curious and always learning, May is especially interested in digital transformation and the balance between online and offline experiences. When she’s not designing, she’s likely creating with her hands—through embroidery, collage, or drawing—always exploring new ways to express and understand the world.
