About
I'm Mayara, but you can call me May! I'm a Latina graphic designer living in Toronto. Yes, I complain about the winter every year (:
My journey first took me to Language and Literature as my first degree. Words, stories, and how we communicate really pulled me in. But along the way, I realized I wanted to tell stories in a visual way too. So I went for a second degree in Graphic Design.
Now I get to live in both worlds. I blend culture, typography, and design to create work that actually connects with people. I've worked across graphic design, social media, UX/UI, and marketing. The golden thread? Projects that make a positive impact.
I'm curious by nature and always learning. Right now, I'm especially into how online and offline experiences can live together in a peaceful way.
When I'm not in front of a screen, you'll probably find me making things with my hands. Embroidery, collage, drawing... you name it. It's my way of exploring the world and expressing what's inside.
Let's work together
